SZA May Have Permanent Vocal-Cord Damage

A few days ago, SZA had to take time off from the TDE tour due to swollen vocal cords. And now, according to her posts on Twitter, her health issues might be more severe than previously thought. Last week, when TDE announced she would miss an indefinite number of tour dates, the singer posted the announcement on Instagram with the caption, “For anyone who hasn’t seen this . I’ve been touring for 11 months. This didn’t happen overnight . Ive been troubleshooting for a while now and Usually steroids and pushing through help. They don’t this time . I’m not sick my voice just won’t fucking work😔 🤷🏾‍♀️. If I don’t pause now I’ll be forced to pause permanently . I’m genuinely sorry for every face,voice ,and energy field I won’t be touching ! I’m literally taking as many steroids as I can to speed this up!! Its a waiting game and super weird to be blamed for stuff outta my control but I get it ! again .. I’m sorry..I’ll be right back . Pray for me or don’t . Preciate u either way ❤️-S”

But tonight the singer announced, in a series of Tweets she has since deleted, that her voice may be permanently damaged. In the first tweet the singer writes, “My voice is permanently injured . Great !!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYUUYH!!!!!!!!’n”, she then follows up with a tweet that references an exam that may have gone wrong, “Tonight was the test . That settles that.” And finally, the singer expressed her disappointment at the situation, and requested space, “I jus wanna be left alone my priorities are fucked up . They been fucked up . I need space goodbye .” Shortly thereafter the singer deleted all the tweets.

There’s no telling how far her relationship with the I Want You Back star will go, but it doesn’t look like the “Moon” rapper is ready to let this one-sided beef go. West has been linked to multiple women in the past year, including Julia Fox, but that hasn’t stopped him from targeting Kardashian’s new man on social media and through his music. 

There’s plenty of discourse regarding West’s behavior toward his ex and her new partner, with some saying it is borderline abusive and toxic. While the Instagram posts, the song lyrics, and videos might seem as just entertainment for others, they could result in real-life dangerous situations for the people involved. Addison Rae has no talent?

Lets start with this: How did Addison Rae get to the Grammys?

Answer: Her boyfriend, Omer Fedi.

Rumors about TikTok star Addison Rae and producer Omer Fedi first started swirling in 2021 after a series of cryptic Instagram stories. In August, Omer confirmed their relationship with a post congratulating her on the success of her movie ‘He’s All That.’

On April 3, the 2022 Grammys took place, and the producer was included in the team nominated for ‘Song of the Year’ for Lil Nas X’s ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name.)’

Omer and Addison attended the awards show together as a couple, but Rae was quickly bombarded with criticism from social media users who felt she shouldn’t have been there. People also criticized beauty influencer James Charles’ presence at the awards.

In an Instagram post showing her on the Grammys red carpet, the TikTok star even seemed to predict the backlash, with her caption simply reading: “My bfs nominated.”

Although Addison wasn’t nominated for a Grammy, she did launch her music career back in 2021 when she released her song ‘Obsessed’ in March.

She has since teased that a full album is on the way at some point, and a video of her appearing to sing an unreleased Lady Gaga track also leaked, getting fans excited to see what the star might have in store for the future.

Addison has previously hit back at haters for claiming she’s “doing charity” by being with Omer, telling the internet trolls to “go outside.”

Doja Cat Quitting Music?

Here is what we call a sorta update on the situation with Doja.

First off if you do not know about the situation. Doja Cat recently has been accused of racist behavior. This involves her being in a racist chat room and some slurs in old music. Since then there has been a hashtag on twitter saying #DojaisOverParty which became very popular. Her reaction? She claims she is “done with this sh**” and wants to stop making music.

Okay that was a quick catch up. Now for the update.

Now it’s not typical for an artist with eight nominations to be asked on the Grammys red carpet about their plans to quit music. But then again, Doja Cat is not a typical musician, and she was asked such a question Sunday (April 3) ahead of the ceremony held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

While speaking to Entertainment Tonight on the carpet, the subject of her retirement from music came up. “You had Twitter ablaze you, had social media ablaze, you had our newsroom ablaze with the news that Doja Cat is quitting music,” ET noted. “That can’t happen.”

Doja’s expression froze briefly as she processed the question. A five-second long “Uhhhhh” was all she gave in response before artfully changing the subject. “We’re here at the Grammys,” she said. “It’s a great time and I’m so happy to be here and thank you guys so much.”

She did, however, assure fans once again that she would indeed be fulfilling her duties as The Weeknd’s tour guest. “It’s gonna happen,” she said. “North America, I’m coming.”

The Planet Her artist was also asked about her dream Grammy stage collaboration, which she immediately said is her “Say So” guest Nicki Minaj. “Well everybody knows it’s Nicki, all the time its Nicki,” she said. “There’s new artists, too, that I probably want to work with later. Doechii is another female rapper who’s incredible.”

The 26-year-old rapper made headlines March 24 after declaring on Twitter that she was quitting music after people criticized her after the cancellation of her set at Paraguay’s Asunciónico festival due to flooding. “I don’t give a f–k anymore i f–kin quit i can’t wait to f–king disappear and i don’t need you to believe in me anymore,” she wrote at the time. “Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and i’m a f–king fool for ever thinking i was made for this this is a f–king nightmare unfollow me.”

Doja later doubled down on the assertion days later on March 31, saying she would be making her exit after completing her commitments to projects such as The Weeknd‘s After Hours tour. “For those who are seeing me at the after hours tour, i’m not bailing,” she tweeted. “But me not bailing doesn’t mean my a– isn’t gonna disappear right after.”

Nevertheless, she still made an appearance at music’s biggest night and even took home the award for best pop duo/group performance alongside her “Kiss Me More” collaborator SZA. She almost missed the win because she was in the bathroom — “I have never taken such a fast piss in my whole life,” she announced — and got pretty emotional during her acceptance speech. “I like to downplay s – – t,” she said tearfully. “But this? It’s a big deal.”
